Erasmus+ visit to our school
We are the international ambassadors.
Last week we had international visitors visiting our school. We welcomed 22 teachers from Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Iceland and Greece. We learned how to say good day in all the languages to make them feel welcome. The visitors stayed in our school for 4 days, from Monday to Thursday. On the first day they came, we introduced ourselves and took them to staffroom. All visitors were welcomed by Mini Police and taken to whole school assembly. Mr Sheppard introduced our school, Criw Cymraeg did a superb presentation about Wales and Mrs Price’s group danced a traditional Welsh dance. The visitors enjoyed a tour around our school and asked many questions.
After that they presented presentations about LEGO and coding within their schools.
On Tuesday they went to Senedd and St. Fagans to explore Welsh culture.
On Wednesday we showed them all the classes in our school where they could see how we learn to tell stories.
Thursday was the last day of the visit.
During Thursday’s assembly we gave them some Welsh gifts to take back to their schools; Dragon’s rugby ball, flag and poster as well as welsh cakes and book about our school. We thanked Miss Viera and Mr Worgan for helping us to organise the visit. We really enjoyed helping out with the visitors and we hope to see them again.
